How much can we pack into 2 weeks?
We got the chance to come home for a much too short Christmas vacation. The 25 1/2 hour drive and all the trekking across the Carolinas was pretty taxing, but well worth the love and time shared with family and friends. Here are some pictures from our stay.

Let's hear it for the boys!
Joe Brown's last night as a bachelor! The ASU gang was, of course, the last to leave the rehearsal dinner. It just would have been an injustice to leave beer in that keg! (L to R) Daryn, Travis, Justin, Joe, Matt, Wes, Scott and Jack. Joe wasn't smiling so big when he and Laura saw what we did to their car the next day!

Wedding dress shopping
Bruce's Bridal in Lexington, NC opened their doors on a Sunday for the multitude of Culver, Taylor and Isenhour women who gathered to help me pick out the perfect wedding gown. And can I say...we did an amazing job!
Santa's Little Helpers
Sleepover at Carrie Rea's!! Jocy and I donned stockings as we try to get in the Christmas mood. I think that we look pretty darn cute...especially with the way that the makeshift hat pushes out my big old ears!
Christmas at the Culver's
I think that our family is on steroids, because it seems like it's growing so fast!! Here all the kids pose for a photo in front of the tree.
Jenni's childhood dreams come true!
There are a lot of things that I can count on for Christmas and one of those is Aunt Susie's sweet bar and the gingerbread house that she always brings. It tempts us all vacation until finally we get to demolish it and dig in. This year Aunt Susie made a wise decision with the all-chocolate version...
Dinner with the Taylors
Fine Italian dining meets the Taylor clan. The food at this place was really good and the company enjoyed was even better. Boy, I miss fresh seafood so much!!!
Sister Sister
Jocy and I pose for a photo with the tiny tree. We had a lot of fun this weekend, for sure!
Sister Sister...Again!
Mom and Aunt Susie are hot!! I just hope that I look half as good as these ladies when I am their age!
How far can you open your eyes?
Seriously, we are having a contest to see who can open their eyes the biggest! I think that Justin and his bug eyes won, with Jocy coming in at a sort of not so close second!
How do you work the call waiting?
We got to eat dinner at this awesome German restaurant in Charlotte, the Rheinland Haus (highly recommended!) with the Isenhours and the Duncans. Here Shelby Lou is playing with everybody's cell phones. What a cutie!
Herding the mini-cattle...
Robbin takes little Shelby for a walk outside the restaurant. She is sooooo precious!
The Snaggle Twins Strike Again!
What kind of trouble are we getting into now? Okay, so truth be known, we're just sampling food for the reception, which by the way was very good. Stay tuned for the continuation of the epic adventures of...The Snaggle Twins...dun dun dun.
Rough Riders
Robbin, Carrie and I take an exciting tour of Buck Mountain on the four wheeler. According to the rider's manual we should be wearing helmets and two shouldn't be on there. But hey we like to live on the wild side!
Shrek sighting!
Who knew that Shrek was an NC State fan and worked at Environamics?
