June 1st, 2004
These pictures are from the trip to Colorado and from dinner in Charlotte the night before. Justin, Carrie, Jocy and her friend and I ate at the Pit Stop or something like that. It was an emotional night and the trip to Colorado (through Wisconsin, of course) was awesome!

Jocy and the Tube
This is at the place where we ate dinner. The container full of beer on the table is called "The Tube." It's full of draft beer and they bring it right to the table. It turns out to be cheaper than buying each beer separately and definitely a lot more fun! I think it would be a nice fixture at a Culver family gathering! : )
Aren't we sweet?
This is me sitting on my wonderful little sister's lap and probably crushing the mess out of her!
Snaggle Twins
My best friend and Maid of Honor, Carrie, came down eat dinner and send me off.
The Girls
Can't you just feel the love? I miss these ladies so very much!!
Justin's seat for the drive...
Thanks to Dad, we packed my new X-Terra unbelievably full and strapped my mattress to the top (that did wonders for the gas mileage...not). Somewhere in or about Indiana the wrap started coming loose and flapping really loud, so we had to stop and buy a roll of ducktape to tape it down. The looks that we got coming from people at the gas station were pretty funny!
Paddleboats in Milwaukee
How do you get to Colorado from North Carolina? Through Wisconsin, if your fiance is a trombonist! We just had to visit Greenhoe Trombones in Wisconsin, so we stopped in Milwaukee for the night. We walked by Lake Michigan, rented paddleboats and ate at a great Thai Restaurant as well as visited the Miller Brewing Company and eating lots of cheese!
First sunset over the Rockies
Entering my new state of residence and seeing the first of many sunsets over the Rockies in the distance...I guess it's not too bad. :)
