Who am I?
My beginnings are in Fayetteville, NC where my two younger sisters and I were born to Steve and Carol Culver. Though they divorced when I was 6, I couldn't have asked for two more loving parents. I did the rest of my growing up in Lexington, NC. In 6th grade, despite my pleadings to enter art, my mother bought a clarinet for me and I joined the Lexington Middle School 6th grade band under Mr. Paul Freeman. Thanks to him and many other music educators, my love music and passion for teaching grew more and more each year. After attending many district bands and one summer of Cannon Music Camp, I knew there was no other place for me to earn a degree than Appalachian State University. In Boone, I received an education and experiences that I feel will help me to pass on the gift and inspiration of music to many more. Currently, I am the band and choir director at Platte Valley Middle School and High School in Kersey, Colorado. As my a first year teacher, I'm having some rough spots, but I would'n't trade it for anything in the world. And coming up on July 23rd of 2005, I will marry the man who stole my heart my freshman year of college at ASU, Justin Isenhour. Yay!

The History or Story Behind My Site
My soon-to-be sister-in-law, Robbin has a site with 20fr.com and I really enjoyed checking up on her through her site. Being so far away from most of my family has been hard and I thought that this might be a neat way to bridge the gap.
